Escondido Lake & Tierra Mayor Valley
From Ushuaia circulated by the National Road No.3, the road runs through wide valleys, forests, rivers and peat bogs. Northwestward across the river and Olivia Cascada Velo de Novia, we crossed several mountains to reach the valleys Carbajal and Tierra Mayor. At 30 km. the route begins to climb the mountain forests of Lenga and guindos up to the highest point of the journey, the Garibaldi Pass. From the viewpoint overlooking Lago Escondido and is shocking to the bottom, the immensity of the Fagnano. To reach the shore of Lake Escondido, walking down for 45 minutes to an inn on the shore, where we rest and enjoy with a hot beverage. From there, we continued the trip into a winter where we stopped to eat (lunch optional) in the afternoon we have the opportunity to practice different winter sports as snowcats crossings, hiking with snowshoes or sled pulled by Siberian dogs. In the afternoon we return to Ushuaia
