Description |
| Departing from the Civic Park of Ushuaia, where the Tourist Quay is, we travel by bus on national route 3 toward the “Estación del Fin del Mundo” (Station at the End of the World), located 8 Km west from town. From there, by means of a replica of the “Prisoners Train”, visitors will travel the same route travelled decades ago by the prisoners to provide the town with wood. Hundred-year-old forests, rivers, sphagnum bogs, and the replica of an Indian settlement will appear before the travellers’ eyes. The ride also has a stop a the Macarena cascade; and in its last stretch the train enters the National Park Tierra del Fuego, ending at the park station. This is the ideal excursion to get to know the National Park. The train departs every day, all the year round and the departure times from November to March are 09:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 03:00 p.m. and 05:00 p.m. and from April to October at 10:00 a.m. The tour lasts 1 hour

Description |
| The tour starts at the Tourist Quay of Ushuaia, going by several reference points of the city, among which stand out the commercial area –where you will still find the houses of the first settlers-, the navy base, the replica of the Lighthouse at the End of the World, the old jailhouse for recidivists, the Centenario walk –from where you can see the mountain range surrounding the city, as well as the islands on the other side of the Beagle Channel. We will step along “La Pasarela” (The Catwalk), a pathway outlined by the see on both sides, and we will get to the other side of the bay. There, we will make a stop at a lookout point, where enjoying the majestic view you will be offered a snack at our ground floor, fashioned as al old bar. Then we will return to the bay, to our starting point. The passenger who wishes to visit the Navy Museum (formerly Jailhouse Museum), will have the chance to stay with us and descend to the museum just in time for the guided visit.

Jailhouse and Navy Museum |
| The museum is located on the streets Yaganes and Gob. Paz, only 200 meters away from downtown Ushuaia, in the Navy Base. The jailhouse has been preserved in the same condition it was when it still had prisoners over 70 years ago. During our visit, we will walk along its corridors, when of which reflects the conditions in which the prisoners once lived. The history of this jailhouse is closely connected to the city of Ushuaia, since the idea had been to colonize the city by settling jailhouses in it. The prisoners that were sent here worked in some of its 30 workshops, manufacturing items for the city, or they worked outside the jailhouse building streets, bridges and constructing buildings, apart from the exploitation of the forests. In the Navy Museum there is an exposition displaying ship models that show the development of ship making in the last 5 centuries, among which you can see the Trinidad de Hernando de Magallanes (Magellan) and a scale model of the original famous Lighthouse at the End of the World.
